Chex x Rooster pups confirmed

On September 5
Dr. Stankovics from Straws To Paws did an ultrasound on Chex and confirmed that not only is she pregnant, but there are "at least nine pups, and be prepared for 12 or more." Needless to say, since Rooster turned 13 last Thursday we are thrilled that we not only got three natural breedings, but we will have a nice-sized litter, too. Thank you, Dr. Mary and Deb Leach for all your help with the timing of the breeding!

We are very excited about Chex's first litter. Chex, however, is not just waiting around to whelp, she is still field training every day. We have stopped doing agility with her for a while, so those last two AX legs will have to wait until the pups go home.

Chex is truly a remarkable girl, I am thrilled to be able to watch her work in the field and see her belly grow a little bit every day.

I had a dream about this litter the other day....I took one of the females home with me....we are very very excited!!!! Cindy

Hey Marcy,

So I guess field training is out for tomorrow? Good luck to Chex and hope you and Lise get through it OK. Cool idea this blog with the nude photos of Chex!
