10/10/07

I had forgotten to put up pictures of where Chex had decided she wanted to have her pups. This rose bush was simply perfect - wanting nothing to do with the whelping box. Now that she has had the pups I had to put a leash on her to get her out of the box, until today. She spent a few minutes outside of the box today, but as soon as she hears the pups cry she goes right back in, nudging the pups out of the way so she can lie down.

The pups continue to thrive, the largest one reaching 22.25 oz at tonight's weigh-in. They had their third day of bio-sensor. Today's novel scent was a leather glove (getting them ready early for their tracking careers). You could feel their chests expand as they sucked in the scent.

This weekend promises to be packed with visitors. Check back to see updated photo and videos, since I will update thoes even if I do not make a blog entry.

Enjoy!

Traveler is fascinated by the videos. Guess we'll have to tune in regularly!
